Thankful for our CPCSC Teachers
The month of November is filled with a time to be thankful. Thanksgiving is on November 24, 2022 and Giving Tuesday is on November 29, 2022. However, we at the CP Education Foundation feel we should make the entire month of November a time to give thanks to our Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation teachers and staff!
We have all had that teacher or staff member who has touched our lives and made a difference. So let's show them how thankful we are for their work and dedication to education during the month of November.
Things you can do to thank that special teacher or staff member at
Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation:
Buy a yard sign!
Yard signs can be purchased for $30.00. These will be placed at the buildings Monday, November 21st-Friday, December 2nd. Teachers can take home their signs after that date. Signs can be ordered HERE.
Give a Sweet Treat!
Sweet treats can be purchased for $10.00. These will be handed out to staff the week of Giving Tuesday and can be ordered HERE.
Give a shout out by posting on social media!
You can purchase a social media post for that special teacher/staff member for $6.00 each. Your post will appear on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. Submit your post HERE.

"Thankful for Teachers Tumbler"
Tumblers can be purchased for $7.00 each and will be handed out to staff the week of Giving Tuesday. Order your tumbler HERE
Give a Lapel Pin!
Lapel pins can be purchased for your special teacher/staff member for $5.00. They get one of each pin. The pins will be handed out to staff the week of Giving Tuesday. Choose that perfect pin HERE.
Your purchased gift not only recognizes and gives thanks to our many wonderful teachers and staff members but it also helps the Education Foundation to raise funds that enhance educational opportunities within the Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation. Your donations help make an impact by providing resources, and enhancing the learning opportunities for our students at Clark-Pleasant. Below are just a few educational opportunities our education foundation provides. You can also donate to the foundation by simply entering the "Choose Your Own Amount" and make a one-time donation or choose your own frequency.

Recognize Excellence
Each month CPEF draws a name from those nominated for the Recognize Excellence program. This program is for any staff member of CPCSC and nominations can come from co-workers, community members, parents, or students.
Teacher Grants
Each year CPEF awards over $20,000 in grants to teachers to assist them in their classrooms. There is a main grant cycle in the fall and a Fine Arts Grant in the spring.
Legacy Awards
Legacy Awards are nominated by the senior class and are for any staff member who has made an impact on their lives during their CPCSC career.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Each year CPEF runs a different program recognizing teachers. Last year, with the help of Ron Wallman of Horace Mann, there were daily drawings for prizes.
